Shay Shay Veterinary Mobile was created from Dr. Morgan Dixon's belief that animals deserve thoughtful, compassionate care throughout every stage of life, especially during their senior years and final chapter. Founded in 2010, the practice brings veterinary support directly to families' homes throughout the Mooresville, Salisbury, Lake Norman, and surrounding service areas.

Dr. Dixon earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida with Honors before completing a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery. Over the years, her career has included emergency and critical care, primary care, exotic animal medicine, senior pet care, and integrative veterinary approaches. She has also completed training in veterinary acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, Tui-na massage therapy, palliative and end-of-life care, and pet loss grief support.

Her journey into holistic care began after watching acupuncture improve the quality of life of her own aging chow chow, Hayle. That personal experience shaped the direction of Shay Shay Veterinary Mobile and strengthened Dr. Dixon's commitment to combining conventional veterinary understanding with carefully selected complementary therapies.
